About Annie
Annie Hart
Founder
I have experience as a Crisis Clinical Case Manager working in-home with families and adolescent clients, helping families that recently experienced a mental or behavioral health crisis get connected to needed resources and services. Here I also had ample practice with therapeutic crisis intervention, group and individual mental health coaching, as well as program development. I have served as a Pediatric Outpatient Therapist, where I worked with children ages 3-16 and their parents. I’ve also worked in residential treatment facilities as a Youth Treatment Counselor, where I hardened crisis intervention skills with high acuity clients. I have an extensive research background in suicide and non-suicidal self-injury, diagnostic disparities, mood disorders, and eating pathology in adolescents and young adults, with a special focus in LGBTQ+ individuals. I am particularly passionate about the de-stigmatization of mental health and addressing disproportionate barriers to care for Colorado families.
I am certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention through the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention through Cornell University. I have years of supervised experience under licensed LPCs, LCSWs, and LPs in clinical risk assessment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and attachment-based interventions and assessments. I blend these approaches to create a person-centered coaching experience tailored to help you and your family reach your goals.
I'm here to help you understand yourself better—compassionately and at your own pace. When we understand ourselves more deeply, we naturally understand others better, including our children. You are the expert in your own home, and I'm here to help you recognize that and discover your own answers. Through evidence-based interventions, psycho-education, and self-exploration, I can help you identify the triggers in your home and develop better resolutions for you and your family.
